As the Director for IT Architecture and Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for establishing an Enterprise framework which will be used transform how Enterprise Applications consume and expose data to internal applications and external subscribers utilizing a robust set of APIs and micro services. You will have deep insights into API development and success using modern data acquisition techniques, API platforms and gateway services. You will be a technical leader who is close to your projects and teams. You will have the opportunity to be strategic in your designs, and strong in delivery execution. You will constantly innovate and as a strong communicator, promote creative/new ideas that can address our customers’ needs and desires. You will envision and establish an API Marketplace to service both external and internal customers.
As the leader of enterprise architecture, you will lead the team to define and deliver enterprise-wide architecture and solutions connecting business needs with supporting technology, including accountability for creating and defining an IT Architecture Governance Framework and organizing/leading an IT Architectural Review Board. As a primary change enabler, you will provide leadership, direction and accountability for delivery of strategic architectural and business goals, including governance and oversight of delivery against the defined roadmap, architectural standards and patterns. This will be delivered through the process of defining the strategy, plans and governance needed to implement and manage enterprise architecture domain designs and technology standards. Your team will collaborate across all architectural disciplines, including business (processes/activities/functions/information),
application, data, integration, related best practices, patterns and reference architectures.
Experience working with the design, integration and/or support of vendor packages within an overall enterprise architecture.
Working knowledge of Health Insurance Payer, Provider, Financial Services industry
Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks & industry models (TOGAF, ITIL and BIAN).
Experience working in Agile delivery (i.e. Scrum).
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.
Demonstrated experience of identifying and leading forward process improvements
Lead in the creation of initiatives, investment cases and architecture models for assigned projects and transformation programs
Fully engage with business and IT partners to address customer needs. Use your acumen to translate technical details into business terms and vice versa. Foster strong working relationships across the organization and within technology to drive the development of integration capabilities and overall technology strategy and goals.
Design solutions with the Integration team using cloud technologies and appropriate leading-edge technologies.
Creating, maintaining and versioning API’s in the management layer.
Use and examine current transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL.
Prepare and architect systems to provide data to partners, portals and websites utilizing selected technology platforms.
Collaborate across Business and Technology functions to identify opportunities to leverage common solutions and extend the adoption of standards.
Guide, evaluate and govern alignment of project solutions to architecture standards and patterns. Ensure that non-functional requirements and architecture acceptance criteria are firmly understand, addressed, delivered and tested by the project.
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and proactively communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies to the stakeholders in IT and the business. Educate stakeholders on the value of enterprise architecture and provide consultation by anticipating future business and technology scenarios.
Lead decision making around technology concerns across the enterprise, ensuring architectural principles are applied and demonstrating strong operational and financial acumen to guide technology decisions.
Analyze business proposals and plans, and to identify the applicable architectural solution to address business problems at hand, bearing in mind the aspects of cost management and risk management.
Collaborate with the Technology and Business Stakeholders to develop an Enterprise Architecture Vision & Strategy aligned with Fallon Health’s company objectives.
Work with vendors, partners, on strategy, planning and implementation of technical capabilities and platforms.
Align closely with our Service Deliver managers and Infrastructure teams to ideate, scope, plan, estimate, coordinate, de-risk roadmaps
Drives thought leadership within the organization with presentations and architectural models that show how the current and future technology needs of the organization align to our company mission and the growth of our business.
Define, maintain and evangelize the company’s current and target platform strategy with reference architectures, business-system capability map, solution integration requirements and deployment guidelines.
Drives adoption of new technology across the organization by delivering Proof of Concepts with supporting design diagrams, technical documentation, business impact analysis and ROI.
Understands and supports organizational goals/priorities and contributes to strategic decisions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field; Master's Degree Preferred
Qualifications requirments :
Fifteen+ years of progressively responsible IT experience, including: 10+ years of integration management experience, and 10+ years of experience in application development, and 10+ years in software & enterprise solution architecture with increasing responsibilities
Experience with implementing or utilizing one of more of the following technologies:
Docker, Kubernetes, TIBCO Cloud™ Mashery®, IBM API Connect, MuleSoftAnypoint Platform
Demonstrated ability to transform teams and technology in a rapidly growing environment.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects using Agile development practices.
Experience with Continuous Delivery tools and DevOps practices.
Experience with Data Virtualization & Micro Services architecture.
Experience providing oversight and leadership of a Technology Architecture team
Strong API design and implementation skills
Strong presentation skills and written & spoken communication skills.
Strong financial and organizational management experience.
Experience gaining alignment and driving change within assigned functions
Expertise in the ability to combine an understanding of business capabilities, business processes and technology solutioning.
